TICKETING TERMS & CONDITIONS

COVID-19 UPDATE 2023: With the lifting of all government restrictions regarding covid-19, there are no longer any specific conditions of attendance at the Horsham RSL relating to the pandemic.

This includes refunds: as we have returned to “business as usual”, the Horsham RSL’s normal refund policy applies (see below).

The Horsham RSL and horshamrsl.com.au (collectively, the Site) is an online service owned and operated by Horsham RSL Sub Branch Inc. When The Horsham RSL Hall sells a ticket of admission, The Horsham RSL  warrants it is fully authorised to sell the ticket(s).

Terms may vary at the discretion of The Horsham RSL and will be effective upon posting to the Web Site. You must agree to them, and any current variations to them, each time you make a purchase from us.

No Reselling

No tickets may be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction sites) or used for advertising, promoting or other commercial purposes (including competitions or trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by yourself or another person without the express consent of The Horsham RSL. This includes buying and selling Bulk Tickets at the sale price. Tickets cannot be bought in numbers greater than 6 unless otherwise approved by The Horsham RSL. If a ticket is involved in a breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.

Goods and Services Tax

All prices quoted include the Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable.

Event Cancellation

If an event is cancelled or postponed before it begins we will provide a refund to you.

If an event is cancelled or postponed after it has commenced, you will not have the right to exchange or receive a refund on tickets.

The Horsham RSL’s Pricing Policy

All stated prices are inclusive of GST. The Horsham RSL’s advertised ticket prices include the base supply cost of the products and all fees charged to and by The Horsham RSL to supply those tickets.

Lost Tickets

If your tickets are lost or stolen you must produce proof of their original purchase before we will issue a Lost Ticket. Replacement of lost tickets is subject to the venue and/or promoter’s terms and conditions. At the discretion of the Horsham RSL charge an administration fee if a lost ticket voucher needs to be issued.

Gift Vouchers 

Gift certificates purchased from the Horsham RSL have an expiration period of 3 years.  Venue staff manage all transactions through the venue’s ticketing system.  It is recommended that vouchers are redeemed within a three-year period as per the Victorian Consumer Affairs guidelines for Gift Certificates and Cards visit here.

Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash or other services.

Law & Construction

These Terms and Conditions of Sale, any contract made by a confirmed booking and all directly related matters shall be governed and interpreted exclusively under the law and courts of the State of Victoria, Australia

Ticketing Code of Practice

The Horsham RSL strictly abides by the “Code of Practice for the Ticketing of Live Entertainment in Australia” defined by the industry regulatory association, Live Performance Australia. (The code includes Industry guidelines and Consumer guidelines.)

According to page 16 of the Consumer Code, there are a range of instances in which “Consumers may believe they are entitled to a refund when they are not actually entitled to a refund under the Consumer Laws. Examples of some of the more common circumstances are set out below”
